Happy (late) Birthday, Isaac! Excited to hear that you may stop by our place tomorrow. It sounds like you and Hannah have been keeping up a rigorous schedule!

We went to a neat Orthodox Christian ceremony yesterday where four or five of their churches joined to sing hymns about Christ’s baptism (many centuries old) by the Susquehanna river for about thirty minutes before the priests blessed the river. Made me think of the angles singing over the rivers as they were made (Job 38). It’s part of the their celebration of Epiphany (or Theophany). Here are a few pictures.

And this cool little post (Looking at Sand: On Wonder & Awe) reminded me of our great Dad and Mom (they raised real scientists). It recalled that day spent sorting a pile of sand by color, grain by grain.
