Sheesh! I have to dedicate a special half-hour segment of my morning to keep up with all the news on here. Very exciting and fun things going on. God has blessed this family with it’s five daughters for sure. 🙂

Well, the very good phone interview at 3 PM on Monday generated a great job offer on Tuesday morning by the time I got to work. It’s a contract position with Gulfstream in Savannah, GA, which is right on the coast just under the South Carolina border. We’d be probably 3 hours or so from the GA Browns and moments off of I-95. I will be doing basically what I am doing now at Piper but I will be part of a team of about 40 instead of a one-man-show, which will be very nice. We’ll be about 5 hours from Melbourne and 5 hours from our property and 9 hours or so from WV. So, it’s a fairly central location. It looks like I will be starting on the 26th of this month, so please pray that all the many details of finding a place to live and closing up shop here in Melbourne get done without killing poor Jess.

We’re so thankful to God for this provision and excited about settling into a quiet little life of our own for a few years while we keep making progress on the Grey Havens project. Thanks all for your prayers also! It would have been fun to be a little closer to WV but this will put us within a non-lethal driving distance so we should be able to get up there a little more often. We are planning to spend Christmas in WV this year. Better sign of and get to my current job. I’m planning to make my formal announcement there today!
