Luke. I know. There are often those seemingly meaningless, tedious hurdles to be forced to jump through in life. Just because that is the system some people came up with and for decades/centuries everyone has just continued following it. School (and degrees) is such a major one of those hurdles. But, you probably should persevere even if it’s not what you want right now, even if you’re ready to move on to the next phase of life. For now, a school degree (at LEAST high school, if not college) is still important for opening up opportunities that you WILL want. You are almost done. ALMOST DONE! šŸ™‚ (And there really is a curse in the family of being completely crazy/over the top. It sometimes makes me want to take up smoking, drinking, fleas, and a back-woods drawl.)

A correction and another correction/explanation:
1. Jesse had written that I let Tobias eat the crackers intended for the wildlife, to the “consternation” of many of the other moms in our homeschool co-op. Some of them had been telling their own children not to eat them, and were a bit surprised that I was letting Tobias eat them. A couple of them did truly seem shocked, but most of them didn’t think it shocking or surprising.
2. The grandfather, not father (though Nessa usually calls him “the father”), in Peter and the Wolf is portrayed as an old bore, so that is why Nessa had that attitude.

Oops, Tobias has apparently been drawing on his legs with a green marker this entire time. šŸ™‚
