We weighed Nessa today at a nursing clinic in Laurel. On the way there, we each took a guess. I guessed on the high side at 6 pounds 10 ounces. Elizabeth guessed 6 pounds even. Nessa surprised us both by weighing in at 6 pounds 13.9 ounces. That is an average of over 1.6 ounces per day since her last weighing. And she looks like she is gaining well. 🙂 I will have to post some more photos as soon as possible. She is getting some cute extra folds here and there. 🙂

The nursing continues to be up and down. This afternoon she had her best ever time of nursing. She sucked well and swallowed and looked like she was thoroughly enjoying it. We were very encouraged and prayed a prayer of thanksgiving. Yesterday had been very hard again. We just couldn’t induce her to ever really give it a try. This evening she has been quiet and sleepy and has not really nursed well again. But at least there was some progress today. Thank you for your prayers. It continues to be an emotional roller coaster as our hopes go up and down with each feeding.

Isaac, I would love to see the improvised web browser you put together. It sounds very interesting.

Love, Jesse
