Kevin, wonderful choice of trees! ๐Ÿ™‚ Now I will want you to stay there for a while. ๐Ÿ™‚ The great Castro story was from Joel. I enjoyed it too. Katie, I enjoyed your kayak story a lot as well. Today we just went rafting with Chelsea down the same stretch of water. We were the goofy rafters with the silly guides and all the safety gear on. It was a beautiful stretch of river, and we all had lots of fun. But I certainly would have preferred being on my own. ๐Ÿ™‚ The guides were not overly impressive, but they did say two things that I want to try and remember. Never try to stand up in the middle of white water. It is the easiest way to break your leg on an undercut rock. And always float through rapids down stream on your bottom with your feet straight out in front of you. I guess they are both pretty obvious. Anyway, rafting the rivers made me want to go down it with you guys on the kayaks!

Good bye Joel and Katie. We will miss you and pray that you have a safe and wonderful time.

Nessa is growing so fast. She literally looks different, every single day when I get home! And she is so much fun. Pictures are long overdue. ๐Ÿ™‚ I canโ€™t wait for this marathon nursing “Cold War” to be over. Nessa had a great day yesterday and then a bad day again today. The routine that people have recommended for Elizabeth is grueling. She didn’t even get to eat lunch today until after 3:00. It really requires two people to keep up with basic daily needs and to continue pushing Nessa as hard as she can be pushed. So we are looking forward to this weekend and the end of next week when I will be out of school.

Love, Jesse
